I went to a funeral the other day.
The theme was “Ugly Christmas Sweater”

Recently I found myself oddly fascinated (in the least creepiest way possible) by couples who constantly have to hold on to each other while in public. Like holding hands, arms around their waists, etc, etc…
It’s as though they’re afraid of losing each other.
I’m not criticizing them or anything. I actually don’t blame them.
We all have a fear of suddenly being abandoned.
A fear of realizing how lonely we really are.
That’s why hugs are necessary. Hugs are a way of saying “No you’re not, here’s my body to prove it”

i’ve been thinking about this all day
Dear New Independent Filmmakers,
The world is your oyster. You have the power and attention to show a fresh perspective to the world. You are the future of film.
Stop wasting your time and money on lame concepts about quirky 20-30somethings and their quirky best friends on a journey of love and self discovery:

Your movies are on apple, that’s a pedestal to say something meaningful and important. I don’t care about some guy who “decides to do something with his life” or “trying to get the girl of his dreams”. It’s boring. And stop using the same lame ass acoustic guitar indie-rock artist as the soundtrack.
Let’s do something DIFFERENT new filmmakers! I mean, come on!

At 7 this morning when I was leaving my house to go to work, I was in a terrible, sleep-deprived mood.
Then I found $15 lying on the sidewalk. I was then in a much better mood.
The sad thing is, after finding $15 lying on the ground, I then found myself looking for more money the rest of the way and felt disappointed when there wasn’t.
I then continued to look for money on my walk back home.
That’s a human for you. Luck is never enough.
